Durable and lightweight synthetic bedding

It is essential to choose the most suitable bedding for a comfortable sleep. Whether for a duvet, a pillow, or a mattress topper, synthetic bedding offers numerous advantages. It is indeed easy to maintain and suitable for allergy sufferers, while remaining very comfortable for daily use.

Synthetic bedding, easier to maintain

While bedding made from 100% natural materials has its benefits, it is less easy to maintain than synthetic bedding.

Polyester, which fills synthetic duvets or synthetic pillows, is often very durable. It can therefore be washed at higher temperatures without showing signs of wear too quickly. Maintaining, disinfecting, or removing stains from the fabric of a duvet or pillow is simpler. They can easily be washed in a standard washing machine.

One only needs to carefully follow the washing instructions provided by the manufacturer. Drying is also faster when opting for synthetic bedding, which limits the time spent without being able to use one's duvet or pillow.

Finally, synthetic materials do not wrinkle easily. This often avoids the chore of ironing, thus saving precious time. Synthetic bedding, to prevent allergies Opting for a synthetic bedding pack is particularly recommended for people suffering from allergies. This is especially true for those with asthma or dust mite allergies.

Synthetic bedding is less prone to retaining dust or other particles compared to natural bedding. The development of dust mites, molds, or fungi is also less frequent with synthetic materials. Moreover, anti-allergen treatments are generally more effective when applied to a synthetic pillow, a synthetic mattress topper, or a synthetic duvet. The fact that synthetic bedding can be washed at high temperatures without risk of damage also plays a role. Finally, like natural bedding, synthetic bedding can be produced without harmful substances.

Bonsoirs' duvets, pillows, bolsters and mattress toppers, for example, are all certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (CQ 1182/1 IFTH) or (CQ 832/1 IFTH). This label proves that no substances harmful to health or the environment have been used in the manufacturing process of these products. For all these reasons, the risks of allergic reactions are less significant when sleeping in quality synthetic bedding, with a duvet and pillow filled with polyester.

This choice is all the more relevant as a high-end synthetic duvet replicates the sensation of being enveloped in comfortable down, while remaining very lightweight. A high-end synthetic pillow, for its part, will provide the sensation of thick, soft down, ensuring excellent comfort.

Premium synthetic bedding for optimal quality

Bonsoirs synthetic bedding is made with high-end materials to guarantee the best possible comfort for all sleepers. The polyester fibers filling the synthetic duvets are ultra-fine to allow for good sleep, regardless of the season or temperatures. The polyester is 100% recycled, for a more environmentally friendly production. Moreover, all synthetic bedding is covered with a 100% cotton fabric, for a soft and pleasant feel. Finally, the ideal is to benefit from the expertise of a French company with several years of experience to have locally manufactured quality bedding.

This is why we work with a workshop located in the southwest of France. Which duvet to choose between natural and synthetic? Bonsoirs duvets are made with high-end materials to provide you with dreamlike comfort. If you are primarily looking for ultimate comfort to propel you into a cloud of softness, then the 100% natural duvet is for you. If you are allergic to feathers, prefer an easy-to-wash duvet or a down alternative, we recommend the synthetic duvet, made from recycled plastic bottles.

How to properly care for your Bonsoirs duvet?

Your duvet is very resistant, but still take care of it. A wash at 40° max is recommended, on average 1 to 2 times a year. To preserve its plumpness, it is essential to tumble dry your duvet on a gentle cycle, first placing 2-3 tennis balls in the drum. Before enjoying your duvet again, make sure the filling is completely dry. Where are Bonsoirs duvets made? We have selected for you the best workshops located... in France! These workshops with ancestral artisanal savoir-faire (over 100 years, that's quite a bit!) work exclusively with high-end materials and without harmful substances.
