ii. When you make a purchase on our Website When you make a purchase on www.bonsoirs.com, as part of our buying and selling process, we collect the following personal information:

ARTICLE 3 – PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Based on your prior consent, your personal data is collected and processed by BONSOIRS for the following purposes:

  • Processing your orders, including payment, preparation, and delivery of your products;

  • Managing and sending newsletters and SMS messages;

  • Analyzing your use of our online store in order to improve its performance and personalize it according to your preferences;

  • Managing chat, phone calls, and email communications;

  • Collecting customer reviews.


ARTICLE 4 – RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your data is exclusively accessible to:

  • Personnel within BONSOIRS who need access to it in the course of their duties;

  • SHOPIFY INC., the host of www.bonsoirs.com, which acts as a data processor and operates solely in accordance with our instructions for the purpose of providing hosting services;

  • KLAVIYO, a marketing automation platform that enables the sending of newsletters and personalized SMS messages and includes customer purchasing behavior analysis features;

  • YOTPO, a platform for managing customer loyalty, referral programs, and customer reviews;

  • SC CONJURED, a referral program management platform;

  • SIMIO, a WhatsApp marketing activation platform;

  • BIRON, a data visualization platform;

  • ODOO, an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform.

Your data is stored in the data storage systems and databases of our service providers, on secured and protected servers. If you make a purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Information relating to your purchase transaction is retained for as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order is finalized, purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by www.bonsoirs.com and its service providers.

Bonsoirs Home does not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to any third parties other than companies within its group, its service providers within the European Union, or an administrative or judicial authority that has so ordered.


ARTICLE 5 – SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES

ARTICLE 6 – PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Bonsoirs Home retains the personal data that users have shared with it for limited periods while maintaining the security of that data. Data collected for the processing of your orders and/or for managing your newsletter subscription is retained for a period of five years from the date of collection or from your last contact with BONSOIRS. At the end of this period, BONSOIRS will delete your personal data.

By sharing your personal data, you accept its collection, transfer, and storage for the purposes mentioned in this policy. Bonsoirs Home employs all appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, in compliance with applicable regulations.

Technical cookies from our Shopify platform. These cookies are necessary for navigating our website and for accessing our products and services. The following is a list of cookies we use:

  • sessionid – unique session identifier; allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).

  • shopifyvisit – used by our website provider's internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits.

  • shopifyuniq – no data retained; expires at midnight (based on visitor location) the following day. Calculates the number of visits to a store by unique customers.

  • cart – unique identifier; persists for 2 weeks; stores information related to your shopping cart.

  • securesession_id – unique session identifier.

  • storefront_digest – unique identifier; if the store is password-protected, it is used to determine whether the current visitor has access.

Audience cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) allow us to measure the audience of the various pages of our website. This enables us to generate statistics in order to understand user behavior and improve site navigation. This data is collected in aggregate form, so each browsing session remains anonymous.

Advertising cookies enable the display of targeted advertising and, like all other cookies on our site, are entirely anonymous.

ARTICLE 9 – YOUR RIGHTS

These rights are as follows:

Right of access to and communication of your personal data You have the right to obtain from Bonsoirs Home confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed, and if so, the right to access that personal data. Upon request, Bonsoirs Home will provide you with a free copy of your personal data currently being processed. The provision of additional requested copies may result in an administrative fee.

Right to data portability You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to Bonsoirs Home in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit that data to another data controller.

Right to rectification of your personal data You have the right to request that Bonsoirs Home correct your personal data if it is inaccurate. In the event of correction, Bonsoirs Home undertakes to notify each recipient to whom the corrected data has been transmitted.

Right to erasure of your personal data – "right to be forgotten" You have the right to obtain from Bonsoirs Home the deletion of your personal data when one of the following reasons applies:
