What is the best duvet type for your sleep?

Choosing the right duvet depends on your personal preferences and sleeping habits. If you tend to feel warm during the night, you might opt for a lighter, breathable duvet with a lower fill power. Conversely, if you often feel cold during the night, you could choose a warmer model with a higher fill power.

How to choose the ideal weight according to your needs?

Within our collection of high-end Bonsoirs duvets, we have developed products with different fill weights to best meet your needs. If you're looking for a balanced duvet that you can use all year round, we recommend:

- The 90% natural duck down duvet. It is offered with a weight of 220 g/m², which makes it very soft and fluffy. It keeps you warm in winter and remains light in summer.

- The synthetic duvet in recycled polyester fibers with a grammage of 350 g/m². It is just as puffy and soft as the natural down duvet and helps you feel comfortable in summer and winter. The advantage of polyester: it is easier to wash.

If you tend to perspire at night or are looking for a duvet for the summer, we also have what you need. We offer a lightweight duvet model weighing only 135 g/m². Perfectly breathable, it is nonetheless soft and comfortable. Simply slip it into a duvet cover and get into bed!

Which material is best for your duvet?

At Bonsoirs, we have selected the finest materials for our duvets, those that combine comfort, durability, and ethics. We use either natural down or recycled polyester fibers.

Natural down is the material of choice for high-end duvets. For our collection, we use 100% French and 100% traceable duck down, which respects animal welfare. The down in our duvets is light, comfortable, and breathable. It offers excellent thermal insulation for a peaceful night's sleep.

Duvets made from synthetic fibres are also an excellent choice. The 100% recycled polyester fibres we use are durable, resilient, and hypoallergenic. Best of all, they're environmentally friendly and help reduce waste. And for the finishing touch, we've opted for a down-proof casing to prevent the filling from escaping over time.

Size guide: how to choose your duvet size?

• Mattress 90x190 cm or 90x200 cm

  • Duvet: 140x200 cm. This is the standard size for a single bed, providing a comfortable drape on each side.

  • Duvet: 200x200cm. Opt for a generous duvet size, for a lavish drape and the comfort of a 5-star hotel

• 120x190 cm or 120x200 cm Mattress

  • Duvet: 200x200cm. This size offers the perfect balance, ensuring a comfortable drape while remaining generously sized.

• Mattress 140x190 cm or 140x200 cm

  • Duvet: 240x220 cm. The ideal size for a standard double bed, ensuring an elegant drape of 40 to 50 cm to prevent either sleeper from being uncovered.

• Matelas 160x200 cm (Queen Size)

  • Duvet Insert: 240x220 cm for a relatively short drape.

  • Comfort Option: 260x240 cm for a generous drape and maximum comfort if you move around a lot at night.
