Washing
To avoid any mishap, always wash sheets of the same color and fabric together, and never include an item with a zipper in the same load.
Avoid abrasive or powdered detergents, which accelerate wear and dullness. Add a capful of fabric softener if you wish.
Set your washer between 30°C and 40°C (86–104°F), on a moderate spin—800 rpm is ideal.
How often should you wash your sheets? About once a week.

Drying
Let your washed sateen sheets air dry; they dry very quickly.
Prefer the dryer? Use a moderate heat setting only. Ideally, finish drying the sheets by air while they are still slightly damp.

And to finish, ironing... or not!
What gives washed sateen its charm is its gently crinkled appearance. There is no need to iron your sheets if you do not want to. However, if a “perfect bed” means freshly pressed bedding to you, set your iron to low–medium heat and use steam to relax the fibers.
